Board Meeting September 1

Your board met last week at Joe's home - and he is a remarkable housekeeper!  Joe, Jim and Sandy are moving forward with promoting the club through two venues - Focus of the NEJCO  email broadcast and having an advertisement in the Membership Directory that prints in Oct.2024.

Pending issues for the balance of 2024-:  Christmas family adoptions- Sandy is gathering info; Lamar street cleanup; ROTC - fundraising efforts- Nate is working on Grayless and Jim is trying the principal at North. ;  Food Pantry with bodies;  Christmas bureau;  I have asked Milburn for open dates -Christmas party on a Saturday evening if everyone wants?  

PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING IN WITH THE INTERNAL STEWARDSHIP DRIVE WHICH WILL ALLOW US TO PLAN OUR FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE!  THANKS TO : WAYNE, RUSS, JIM R. AND JOE B--

WE EVEN HAVE ALUMNI CONTRIBUTING TO OUR MISSION IN THE FORM OF $700.

Emily R. has given us contact info to monitor the working of the Rotary clock- Jim R will contact them.

We are hoping Barb can help us with the Sept 25 th speaker - the Mission Fire Department - if no luck let me know and will try for a ?
